The promised detail of Mr. Metal Badger, complete with cracked ceramic stripy bits. This was inspired by the work of a guy named Oscar Chichoni, who does some really fantastic metal textures with oil pastel--I wanted to see if I could get anything half as cool digitally.
Err...god, it's been a while. Oil pastel in painter, I think, with various different papers to provide different textures layered over each other. My husband made a lot of the custom papers I use for stones, but some good ones come with the program, too.
Well-made textures. However, my short-sighted eyes idiotly tell to the remaining pieces of my brain that there may be a 3D-view problem concerning the half-hidden side of this badger's face. But you should not trust me, I'm not worth criticizing your work.
I like this, but for some reason, in the closeup it looks more like a sheep than a badger. Maybe that's just me. In the other, full body view, it's definitely a badger...
...please?
