Another watercolor and pen piece, a bit more elaborate this time. It's 12 x 16, took me about three days of working off and on. Just your typical dragony type, wrapped in beads, with a frog. (Of course there's a frog.) Pet? Lunch? Buddy? Your guess is as good as mine...
The scanner's reproductions aren't quite true--the purples are too saturated, the cyans not enough, and there's a limit to the fixes I can do in Photoshop, given that it's simply not picking up subtle hue changes. But still, not a bad reproduction. My biggest problem is that being mostly digital, I keep screaming "If you were pixels, you'd be dry by now!!"

LOL My big problem with being mostly digital is the whole.. "undo!.. oh crap.. no undo.." Lovely detail as usual. I'm betting on that frog being lunch...
omfg why does this not have more comments? Ink and watercolor are hard media and this is so good! The colors are soft and blended very well and it looks so pretty. ._.
Ahhh his frills are so neat, as are his markings...the amount of beads and things are perfect, they don't distract but they also add just enough detail. I also like the way you have elements of the character going off the edge of the paper, instead of being directly centered.
Geez! I love your unique designs. Always something new. ^^ The dragon is beautiful and so... calm. And the froggy... Well, ish a fwoggy!! *cuddlecuddle* I say it's a buddy. It looks too happy to be lunch.

As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
