Why is he catching kite-moths? Well, somebody's gotta do it. Very useful creatures, kite moths. Just don't fly them during thunderstorms, 'cos they hate that.

Still in the throes of my Christensen addiction, I was doodling people with very wonky anatomy, and wound up with this little gnomey...dude. The rest just kind of evolved, including the little kite-moth and the mouse tail. Went mucking about with mixed media--gouache, acrylic, and colored pencil thrown together. Unfortunately, the photography didn't go perfectly and even after a good bit of retouching, the candle seems overwhelmingly bright, but que sera, sera. Prints and 11 x 14 original available, e-mail if interested.
