He'd always expected a patient to kill him some day, but he'd thought he would be a lot older, and it would be an angry bull or a careless moment with a manticore or something along those lines, with an outside chance of being crushed under a nearsighted troll. The funny bit—uproariously funny, it seemed to her—was that she knew she was delirious. The world was billowing around her. It looked as if someone had meticulously painted the inside of a cottage on silk, and then hung it in a gentle breeze. The corners floated inward and collapsed back out again with a sigh.

That someone would go to all that trouble, painting a cottage on silk, was hilarious.

She knew she was wounded. She couldn't quite remember how she'd been wounded. Imagine not remembering a thing like that!

This also struck her as hilarious.

Her name, in Orcish, was Urrsharruk-gah, and she had skin

So I have the sense of humor of a twelve-year-old, and I was looking at some hot sauce labels, many of which are already reasonably tasteless, and this wonderfully bad visual pun occurred to me, and I figured I had to paint it.

Um. I didn't...quite...realize it was gonna be so...um...well, it came out a little more...homoerotic...than I had intended. I was going for charmingly tacky, and I may have...well...I mean, I knew the chaps were kind of pushing it there anyway, but the figure kept looking chunky, so I had to bulk up the muscles and...well...by the time I was done, I sat back and went "...oh. Huh. How 'bout that?"

In hot sauce, remember that it is better to start out too mild than too hot. And if you cannot handle the heat or do not care for sauces, they don’t consider yourself as one of the chiliheads.

I'll crawl out from under the trees to say I think this is so clever you should market some. And yes, you're right about the unexpected eroticism, but that would sell the stuff too.
