Working frantically on art for the upcoming convention--and finishing a book--so I'm frazzled. Here's a peek at one of the little tiny pieces for the show, though, a wee 3.75 x 5 piece of that rare and elusive creature, the Clown Manatee.

Unlike most of its brethren, who are prey to propellers and nets, the clown manatee seeks safety in the tangling tentacles of the giant anemone. While small enough to avoid most boat-related accidents, the gentle clown manatee is prey to large predators, and increasingly sought after in the aquarium trade.
