A familiar sight in winter, the rabbirds will perch in thickets and sheltered branches and fluff themselves up against the cold.

I've got to do a painting of these guys, but I almost hate to abandon the brown paper...they just look so right on it!

If I get enough of these together, I may do a 4 x 6 print set...this little guy is 4 x 6 on brown notecard paper. (I can't wait until my brown sketchbook gets here!) Original sold!

I love these rabbirds...probably because they remind my of my bunnehs, only mine are, y'know...not avian.

get a big piece of brown cardboard and paint on that. i love painting on cardboard because of that different background color

Problem is that I wouldn't want to sell it--cardboard's not acid free, and I'd be afraid it wouldn't last very long.
