Happy Cthulhu's wee little house at R'lyeh is finally done, and my apologies for the image quality--my scanner hates blues. (Why, god, why?) So the rich turquoise and the deep blue violet don't come out terribly well, and the fish is bleached, but...ah, well.
Yes, that is the Elder Sign, as near as I can render it. (Possibly there should be more flames, but space was limited.) Cthulhu seems untroubled by being sealed in with his dead pet fishies.
Anyway, as promised, the shrine is on E-bay at [link]
A high quality scan of the Happy Cthulhu art is at [link] which is a much better way to check out the art in question!
I had thought that this guy looked familiar. It wasn't until I read the comments I realized he is the same god from the movie Dagon (which I just saw very recently) You made him look so cute! <3
Simple: Your scanner was merely attempting to properly render the mind-ripping and brain-melting power that is Cthulu's Shrine and failed miserably. It is, after all, merely a machine.
Wanna buy it

Great, simply amazing idea
