God only knows what it means--I certainly don't. Somewhere in my head there's this world made entirely of tan concrete, full of gears and archetypal woman. I can't tell you anything about this woman, I don't know where she's going or where she's from, or why, like some latter-day Justice, she's wandering around blind with broken swords. I can tell you, however, that the room she's in is three flights down from the concrete crane, through the second doorway and the museum of dog armor, past a giant mural of a firebreathing avocado, through a locked door that can only be opened by humming the chorus to 'Billion Dollar Babies." And really, that's far more information than you need anyhow.

Painter, Photoshop, pencil. This painting went on the cover of the book "The Eternal Trust" by Melinda Rucker Haynes, which I thought was kinda cool.

Okay... If you don't plan on ever creating a story based on this works, then you need to let someone else do it for you (hint hint, nudge nudge).

You have no right to deprive the world of such a vision.

This is wonderful! I love the concept that the woman can't see and has broken swords (I have fun trying to figure out what's going on.) This piece has an air about it that reminds me of Brom's work.

Absolutely enchanting. I was always a sucker for the sepia-coloured artwork. :D

At least I'm not the only one who draws without knowing what she's doing...
Your work is fantastic, and choosing a piece to fav has been a nightmare.
Congratulations. Your gallery is one of the most wonderful I've ever seen.

she kinda reminds me of Justice with her sword and blindfold... and a broken sword instead of a scale >.< anywho beautifull art.

Now, personally, you've got me interested in the "Firebreathing Avocado Mural." I want to see it!

Am I the only one who sees the jackal? :O_o:

Great piece, the lack of bright colors really fits the mood well and the details are so crisp that it lends an air of realism to a piece that was obviously not colored or drawn to emulate real life. Clapworthy for sure.

You should make a map of gear world! or maybe a picture of some open plane of it!... does it have open planes? It has to have a top-side at SOME point?

At first glance, I thought the shape on the big cog behind the woman was a swastika. 0_o

Anyway. A very enigmatic pic - lots of nice colors and textures, though. :+fav:.

So... good...
The description was a little disturbing (I have a fire-breathing avacado phobia), but this still looks great.

And by great, I mean, about the best thing ever.

I'm particularly intrigued by the twin splashes of blood on the wall behind her -- I find myself wondering what the connection is between the mystery woman here and the Angel of Babylon. Yes, there's definitely a story there somewhere. (Although I'm not quite sure how the fire-breathing avocado fits in...)

Wow, your art is amzing.
The shape of the sword on the left almost looks like a gun barrel. It creates an interesting effect.
