A little blue frog in Hopi kachina gear, with fly head rattle. Back in the day, I lived in Arizona and was deeply fascinated by the kachina mythology--the colors! The weirdness! The dances! And, of course, I love frogs because no matter what you dress them in and what color you make them, they're still distinctively froggy.
This is incredibly lovely! The drawing is beautiful and detailed, and the coloring is out of this world. The addition of Native American elements just really makes this deviation go the extra mile. I am largely part Native American, so this piece has extra significance to me.
oh myy gawddd lol thats the tightest frog i've ever seen drawn! i love that lil' indian gear ya got him in. heheh those little knives are cool. + favs +fav
This is one of the best things I've ever seen *laughs* It's completely wonderful, and striking. I could get inspired to write a smaller book just by looking at this for a while. To bad I don't have time to write that much

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
