There is a whole subgenre of furry art known as "Big Pants" art, which is alternately applauded and reviled, depending on who you talk to. In a vaguely whimsical mood, and trying to exaggerate some features in accordance with my current I-will-practice-stylization-if-it-kills-me regimen, I cooked up this kirin (an Asian unicorn) and her bowl of ramen, inspired by all those big pants artists out there.
The common wisdom holds that "big pants" are drawn simply to avoid drawing legs. Various artists will protest this, but I'd like to say that in this, single, particular case, common wisdom was absolutely, positively correct. And it felt good, too. Damnit.
oooo, I love Kirin Art! I just wish there was more of it so id something to look at when trying to draw one. I love your version ^_^ A-yup, I shooooore do
I like drawing baggy pants simply because I like wearing them, but a very positive thing about them is, indeed, that you don't have to draw the legs X3 But at the same time you have lots of creases in the pants to take care of, so.. yeah. Sweet picture Love the unicorn!
ahhh the big pants.... i've often pondered drawing the big pants myself... they jsut look so fun!
but i think i'm all the more pleased with your unicorn.... so few people are actually aware of their exsistance in mythology.... i generally tend to prefer them over the more graceful european unicorn.... nice work! i hope you like 'fan-art' ... if you don't mind, i'd like to take a shot at this Kirin

Nearly all of us, if not every single one of us, have come across a deviation that just has a disappointing '...'. Conversely, some of us have even come across a massive wall of text.
Whether we are the people who ask ourselves, "Is that it?", or whether we are the people who ask ourselves, "What can I say?", this guide will hopefully provide you with some insight in how to go about writing a good description for your deviations, a.k.a. your Artist's (or Author's) Comments.

LOL I can't draw legs (or anything). I don't draw big pants though. Close up of character or portraits is my way of hiding them. heehee
Nice work!
