Klimt's Fish IIby `ursulav

This is a royal gramma, or "fairy basslet," and I did not do justice to the colors of this wee little fish, but I don't feel too bad, because I'm not sure paint CAN do justice. The colors are intense, nuclear, screaming neon, in yellow and purple. They practically glow. They're eye-searingly gorgeous little fishies, and I have seen nano-saltwater tanks with just one or two and a wee bit of coral, and I have been tempted sorely, but I resist, because I'm bad with chemistry and don't even remotely have the cash to dip my toe in that particular salty pond.

6 x 6, mixed media, and no, scanners can't quite do justice to gold leaf, but this isn't too bad. Original is for sale, prints available for $10 plus shipping, send a note or visit [link] for info.

wow!! I think the colors look perfect. probably the only way to make it brighter is to use a highlighter =_=' Lol anyways, it is very beautiful!
