You're not missing something. This is an illustration from my second Little Creature story, "Little Creature and the Redcap," which you can read at [link]

The Little Creature stories are basically weird little illustrated stories I occasionally toy with, in a very scratchy and limited pallette. The art wanders between good and serviceable. (So does the writing, for that matter.) But hey, I enjoy it.
