I have no idea what they look like under those masks. (Maybe they don't either, hence the question marks...)

3 x 7.5 or so, mixed media--pencil, colored pencil, and conte crayon--on brown paper. Original is for sale, drop a line or send a note.

Very nice! I like the texture, and hats with question marks, and the little details of the strings holding their masks.

That said, my first thought on seeing this particular image was of those concrete goose lawn sculptures that some strange people put clothes on. But I expect that this is simply cos my aunt just told to me a story about somebody doing this. ;-)

I see them as worm-like, or maybe weasel. Maybe they're all different species and don't know it! The only reason they get along is because they wear those masks maybe?
