I woke up in the middle of the night because I had a sudden image of perching orandas, slid out of bed and drew a nearly incomprehensible squiggle on a post-it note, which fortunately included the note "orandas on a branch" or I would have had no idea what I'd been thinking.

I did not realize what a grumpy looking little fish the oranda is, but man, they're one disgruntled little fish.

I've left myself dream notes like that before. Though usually not much comes of them in the morning.

This is a really cute and surreal image. Personally, I think that it looks like orandas have their brains on the outside of their head, and that creeps me out a little.

they do look like a disgruntled little fish and it bothers me that it always look like brains on their heads.
