Fooling around with oil paints, tring to figure out what I can do with them, so I figured I'd paint one of the little birds that occasionally manage to squeak into the birdfeeder, between the endless parade of defective squirrels, the occasional local rat, and whatever the heck* raids the feeder at night. This is a pine warbler. I think.**
Anyway, just a little study to fool with techniques. It's 12 x 12 on cradled gessoboard, original is for sale, prints available, drop a note if interested. *I suspect sasquatch. **Or a very clever sasquatch in disguise. |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
