The full title is actually "Portrait Of The Artist With A White Crow In Her Ribcage" but it gets wordy. I was just toying around with some photo-montage stuff, then re-worked a lot of it in Painter and Photoshop. I have a sort of love/hate relationship with the whole trendy digital collage thing--on the one hand, a lot of it's terrible, but on the other, I've seen some staggeringly beautiful stuff, so every now and again I break from my attempts to look like oil paint, to try and hammer out a few. All photos taken by myself or my boyfriend, and the words you can't really make out are a quote from the "Art of Peace" by Moreihei Ushiba.
Lovely work...I love the latent, personal symbolism. It's truly a remarkable self-portrait! Thanks for sharing!

I really love this and the crow totem, which I guess means that I really like your digital collages . I also see that this is pretty old, since James wasn't in the picture, or he was but you weren't married yet ...all the more impressive, because it's just wonderful, even if it's aged.
