The domestic slug makes a beloved pet and valued member of the family--loyal, alert, good with the hatchlings. Stories of faithful slugs sliming their way across hundreds of miles to return home, or oozing into burning buildings to rescue those trapped inside abound. (Sadly, since the top speed of a slug is rather less than the top speed of a burning building, those latter stories rarely have happy endings, but everybody agrees that it's a really first rate effort on the part of the loyal slug.) Truly, the slug is lizard's best friend.
'Course, you gotta housebreak the little buggers first. Mixed media, 5 x 7. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
