I'm pretty sure that's a clove cigarette. No, I have no idea how that works underwater...probably by the same mechanism that's keeping his little beret on...

Another little pencil piece on brown paper--this one's about 6 x 7ish.

I always love animals in hats, and the fact it's a fish makes it even better. Is this fish French, or "artistic" (in the sense that wearing a beret, smoking a cigarette, and having a bad attitude makes a person seem "deep" and "edgy")?
