Who knows what lies beyond the Morel Gate? It's a dark (magenta) secret, guarded by a fearsomely fez'd lizard and his trained attack slug, Guido.
The composition on this one kinda got away from me--I was going for formal and instead achieved somewhat muddled, but it became one of those things where you stare at it for so long that you're totally incapable of judging it. Sort've like when you stare at a word for so long that it loses all meaning and you have no idea if it's spelled right or not. (This is particularly embarassing when it's a word like "the" but I've done it before...) But hey, any chance to paint a fanged slug, right? Mixed media, 11 x 14.
