Funny thing, though, he'd been through here hundreds of times, and he could've sworn he'd never seen it before. ------------ Mixed media, again, acrylic and oil pastel, 14 x 18. This was so obvious I don't know why I never thought of it before--the trunk goes up, the rooty bits go down, it's JUST LIKE A SQUID! Obvious! Makes perfect sense! Right? Right.
