I CAN EXPLAIN! REALLY!
See, every time I paint a rock formation that sticks up, it looks like a penis. I can't help it. It's a big lumpy sticky-uppy thing. You don't have to be a Freudian to find it phallic. It's not intentional. The rock formations just come out that way.
So I figured I'd try to get it out of my system for good, and just go with it. And it needed a small, horrified lizard, because...well, c'mon, it just needed a small horrified lizard. Some things just do.
