Ladies and Gentlemen, quite possibly the first Kickstarter to offer a commemorative pickaxe for high-level sponsors--the Digger Kickstarter!

Sofawolf Press wants to put out an omnibus edition (which is a lot cheaper than buying all six volumes, let me tell you) but printing start-ups do not come cheap on that. So we are proud and nervous to present--THE KICKSTARTER!

Of all the things I need to buy with my first real paycheck, this is, by far, the BEST place for my money to go :) I'm so excited to have a hardcover copy to accompany the other 6 books. Ursula, THIS IS GONNA BE AMAZING <3

Congratulations with the wonderful response on your kickstarter! Digger deserves the attention, but it's nice to see it happening.

I would love to back you for the softcover book and all the extras (60 dollar) But with the shipping costs to Europe... sadly I really won't be able to afford that... But I'll just end up sponsoring you for less, say 15-25 dollar, and I can still order the book through my local bookstore.

The one thing I would really regret would be not getting one of more of the pins... I collect those and I would love to have Digger and shadowchild on one of my hats! Is there any possibility to add a pin or two to one of the say 25 dollar pledges + a promise to order the book at a Dutch book shop (+ a photo of the pins on my hat ^^ if you want to see that)

Apparently not even the American Book Center here can order from Sofawolf press... So I just swallowed my price and asked for funding myself ^^; I got enough money together to pledge the 60 + 35 dollar thing and I'm really looking forward to the book and those extras.

Woohoo! I have this nifty app on my iPad where I write all my to do lists. Urgent stuff, projects, shopping and one list that says "to do someday" as in : sooner than later. And there was an entry saying "buy all of Digger"... so this is perfect! I just sent my pledge, this is going to be so cool!

Technically there's no need to wait, Kickstarter won't withdraw the money before the time period is up, and only if the project is fully funded (although that won't be a problem considering we've almost reached the third stretch goal). So go ahead and secure the tier you want as soon as possible, some of them might be limited after all. :)

Very true, but I just wanna make sure I'll have the exact amount I need, and it won't get eaten up by my student loan payments XD Budgeting and all that. Being a grown up is not as much fun as I thought it would be when I was five, haha!

Haha. True, there's usually plenty of other things that want to gobble up that precious money. But at least nobody can object to the things we want to watch/read/play anymore. We'll make the best of this adult thing one way or another.

So excited for this! Read the comic some years ago and was planning to buy physical copies, but somehow I never did. This sounds like the perfect occasion to finally do it! :D

You had me at "cloisonne pin", really.

Count me in, as soon as I get some money on my account. But, man, those are some HEFTY prices for shipping the book outside the US! Guess I'll stick to the lower backing levels, then.

Yeah, and the sad thing is that they're eating some of the costs there. The way international shipping jumped recently was downright obscene.

Only from the US, apparently. I have a girlfriend who is crazy about knitting and yarn. She orders yarn online a lot. If she orders from the US, it takes 1-2 weeks to get here, and the shipping costs are astronomical. But if she orders from Turkey, for instance, the shipping costs are barely noticeable, and it usually only takes 2-3 days to get the yarn delivered on our doorstep.

Anyway, I digress. I really wanna back this, AND I really want a copy of the book, so I'll see if I can't manage it come payday. I'll be a backer no matter what, though.

Watched the video on the Kickstarter page. Love that you mention Terry Pratchett, because that's definitely been one of the vibes I picked up in the comic. Some definitive Pratchett-ian moments in there.

And I've rambled on again... Anything to keep me from work! Best of luck with the Kickstarter!

Take all of my money.

Well, not literally: I still need it to buy the books and all. Still, I'm donating.
