Cantaloupe Sandals

Among the early work of elven fashion designer Xerxes Finchbones (before his eventual descent into madness, owing to syphilis contracted from a toilet seat in the Drunken Naiad strip club) were a series of shoes grown to Finchbones's specifications by teams of underpaid but fanatical gardeners.

Cantaloupe platform sandals proved a popular design, and eventually were duplicated in both honeydew and muskmelon cultivars.
